Himatsingka Seide board approves total investment of ~Rs17.34cr; stock spurts 4%

The company proposes to procure energy to fulfil part of the power requirements of the plants on a sustainable basis and contribute to the reduction in Carbon footprint.

Himatsingka Seide said that the board has approved the total investment of ~Rs17.34cr in Atria Wind Power (Basavana Bagewadi) Pvt Ltd and Atria Wind Power (Chitradurga) Pvt Ltd, Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV’s) of Atria Wind Power Ltd in Bengaluru.

The company proposes to procure energy to fulfil part of the power requirements of the plants on a sustainable basis and contribute to a reduction in Carbon footprint. The company said that the proposal would qualify under the Group Captive Power Scheme.

Himatsingka Seide Ltd is currently trading at Rs146.85, up by Rs6.15 or 4.37% from its previous closing of Rs140.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs140.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs147.80 and Rs140 respectively.
