In July, JSW Steel's crude steel production increased 14% to 15.69 Lakh Ton

JSW Steel announced on Tuesday that its crude steel output would increase 14% year over year to 15.69 lakh ton (LT) in July 2022. According to a statement from the company, 13.82 LT of crude steel was produced in July 2021.

From 9.34 LT in July 2021 to 10.72 LT in July 2022, the production of flat-rolled goods increased by 15%.

Its output of long-rolled items increased by 19% to 3.65 LT from 3.06 LT a year earlier.

The flagship business of the USD 22 billion JSW Group's diverse JSW Steel division. The company is present in a number of industries, including energy, infrastructure, cement, paints, sports, and venture capital.

Sajjan Jindal, the business's chairman, and managing director stated that as part of its capex (capital expenditure) plan, the company will invest more than Rs48,700 crore over the following three years, of which Rs20,000 crore has been set aside for 2022—2023.
