Jain Irrigation surges 5% after launching its retail brand

The company has launched its first branded retail product called 'AamRus' under 'Jain FarmFresh', its umbrella brand.

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd climbed 5% to Rs.43 after the company launched its first branded retail product called 'AamRus' under 'Jain FarmFresh'. This is the first retail product catering to consumer from a bouquet of retail products in processed fruits, vegetables, and spices categories slated to hit the market in the future.
The scrip opened at Rs. 63.4 and touched a high and low of Rs. 64.75 and Rs. 62.15 respectively. A total of 5009038 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2850.73 crore.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79 on 23-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 50.55 on 25-Aug-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 63.65 and Rs. 59.15 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.69 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.14 % and 31.01 % respectively.
The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
