Jet Airways: Additional 7 aircrafts grounded

The company is actively engaged with all its aircraft lessors and regularly provides them with updates on the efforts undertaken by the company to improve its liquidity.

Jet Airways in its filing to the exchanges informed that additional 7 aircrafts have been grounded due to non-payment of amounts outstanding to lessors under their respective lease agreements.

"The company is actively engaged with all its aircraft lessors and regularly provides them with updates on the efforts undertaken by the company to improve its liquidity," the airline company said in a press note after market hours to the exchanges on Wednesday.  

Further, the company stated that it is making all efforts to minimize disruption to its network due to the above and is proactively informing and re-accommodating its affected guests.

Jet Airways (India) Ltd's share price ended at Rs219.50, down by Rs5.35 or 2.38%, from its previous closing of Rs224.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs219.50 and touched a high and low of Rs219.50 and Rs219.50, respectively. A total of, 40,027 (NSE+BSE) shares have traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs2,554.30cr.
