On September 10, a customer from Delhi had posted a video of bugs crawling out of a Domino’s Pizza seasoning packet, following which the stock witnessed a sharp fall on the bourses during Wednesday’s trade.
The company in a BSE filing on Wednesday post market hours clarified stating that it has carried out a comprehensive inspection across vendors and stores and reassured that their all food ingredients are safe for consumption. Jubilant FoodWorks maintains stringent hygiene and quality standards, it noted.
Meanwhile, the stock of Jubilant FoodWorks was trading at Rs 1,378 per share, up by Rs 56.20 or 4.25% as at 1010 hours on Thursday on the BSE. The stock attracted a traded volume of 11,94,864 shares and traded value of Rs 16,365.81 lakh on the NSE.
Jubilant FoodWorks Limited is a food service company. The company operates through Food and Beverages segment. The company and its subsidiary have rights to develop and operate Domino's Pizza brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
