Pharma major Lupin
announced the launch of Minocycline Hydrochloride extended-release (ER) tablets USP (55mg) on Tuesday after receiving the approval from the USFDA earlier.
Lupin's Minocycline Hydrochloride ER Tablets USP (55mg) is a generic version of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation's Solodyn (55mg). It is indicated to treat only inflammatory lesions of non-nodular moderate to severe acne vulgaris in patients 12 years of age and older.
Minocycline Hydrochloride ER Tablets USP (55mg) had annual sales of approximately $76.8mn in the US, as per IQVIA MAT from December 2018.
Lupin Ltd share price is currently at Rs778.60, up Rs2, or 0.26%, from its previous close of Rs776.60 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs779.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs779.75 and Rs764, respectively.
