The company informed the exchanges Tuesday that it is taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety, hygiene and well-being of all its employees in compliance with directives issued by the Government of West Bengal and the Central Government.
The office operations had been temporarily closed from March 31, 2020, due to lockdown announced by State and Central Governments for prevention of Covid-19 outbreak.
McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd is currently trading at Rs3.52, up by Rs0.16 or 4.76% from its previous closing of Rs3.36 on the BSE.
“In order to maintain social distancing norms in the prevailing situation, the total physical attendance at office will not be allowed to exceed 25% percent of our headcount at Ecospace office and employees who will not be attending office except for work exigencies, shall be required to work from home,” the company said in a release.
It further added that “the company will closely monitor and comply with all regulatory announcements being issued by Central and State Government and Municipal authorities from time to time and is committed to ensuring full and immediate compliance with these at all times.”
