Nifty Realty index advances 1%; Indiabulls, Prestige and Godrej Properties led the rally

Hemisphere was the only laggard on the index, shedding nearly 2% at Rs150.50 per piece.

The Nifty Realty was trading bullish on Tuesday's session rebounding from its bearish trend of yesterday's trade. The index advanced 1% amid positive markets. Indiabulls Real Estate stretched the winning streak followed by Prestige Estates and Godrej Properties. Hemisphere Properties continued to remain under pressure.

At around 11:10 AM, Nifty Realty was trading at 355.70 up 3.30 points or 0.94%, touching a high of 357.15 and low of 354.50 during intraday trade on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, BSE Sensex was trading at 52,828.51 up 276.98 points or 0.53% and Nifty50 at 15,886 up 74.15 points or 0.47%.

Indiabulls Real Estate was trading bullish, surging by 1.60% at Rs111.35 per piece followed by Prestige and Godrej Projects gaining 1.3% and 1.2% each.

DLF has been doing well today despite the lacklustre trading session on Monday post Q4 result. Its stocks was trading at Rs301.95 per piece, up 0.92% on Tuesday.

Sobha (up 1.15%), Sunteck Realty (up 0.90%) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.85%) also aided in the bullish state of the sector.

Oberoi Realty and Brigade were also traded in the green to lift the index.

Hemisphere was the only laggard on the index, shedding nearly 2% at Rs150.50 per piece.
