Prakash Industries secures allocation of long-term coal linkages of 1.69 lakh MTPA for next 5 years

These linkages will result in substantial cost savings in Sponge Iron production at its Integrated Steel Plant at Champa, Chhattisgarh.

Prakash Industries notified the BSE that in the recent auction of Coal Linkages conducted by Coal India Ltd, it has secured allocation of long-term Coal Linkages of 1.69 lakh MT per annum for the next 5 years for its5 th Sponge Iron Kiln.

The total long-term coal linkages now stands at 17.04 lakh tonnes per annum. These linkages will result in substantial cost savings in Sponge Iron production at its Integrated Steel Plant at Champa, Chhattisgarh. 
Prakash Industries Ltd ended at Rs50.75 down by Rs0.15 or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs50.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs52.05 and touched a high and low of Rs52.50 and Rs49.90 respectively. A total of 7,42,827 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs871.73cr.
