S Chand stock shines 6.5% after HDFC MF buys stake

Shares of S Chand and Company stock rallied 6.5% to Rs 484.50 on BSE after HDFC Mutual Fund bought 2.96 lakh shares, or 0.9% equity, of the company at Rs 455 each on NSE, October 23, 2017.

S Chand & Company Ltd is currently trading at Rs 485, up by Rs 29.9 or 6.57% from its previous closing of Rs 455.1 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 464.1 and has touched a high and low of Rs 490 and Rs 464.1 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.79% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.77% and 32.44% respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 100 DMA.
