Sinclairs Hotels Q1 PAT up 32%; stock ends 7% higher

The company’s total income of Rs16.64cr as against Rs15.70cr for the same period in the previous year.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2019, Sinclairs Hotels Ltd posted a Profit After Tax increased by 32% to Rs5cr vs Rs3.78cr in Q1FY19.

The company’s total income of Rs16.64cr as against Rs15.70cr for the same period in the previous year. 

The EBIDTA for the quarter increased by 18% and stood at Rs8.81cr.

The company has strong fundamentals and is debt-free. Its Other Equity (excluding Revaluation Reserve) stood at Rs91.59cr as at March 31 2019, on a paid-up equity share capital of Rs5.57cr.

The Company owns and operates seven properties at Burdwan, Darjeeling, Dooars, Kalimpong, Ooty, Port Blair and Siliguri. All its properties enjoy high guest ratings on TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel information platform.  In spite of the general slowdown in the economy and tourist traffic, the Company has maintained steady growth on account of its strong focus on both the leisure as well as the business travel segments.
