Stone India signs deal with Shenyang Brilliant Elevator Group; gains 2.36%

The company signs agreement with Shenyang Brilliant Elevator Group Co. Ltd, China for forming a joint venture company to undertake the business of manufacturing and selling elevators in India with their technology.

Stone India ended up by 2.36% at Rs.91 after the company said it has signed an agreement with Shenyang Brilliant Elevator Group Co. Ltd, China, on 15 December for forming a joint venture company to undertake the business of manufacturing and selling elevators in India with their technology.

The scrip opened at Rs. 91.25 and touched a high and low of Rs. 94.75 and Rs. 90.25 respectively. A total of 148099(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 85.36 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 101 on 20-Feb-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.1 on 03-Jun-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 90.7 and Rs. 78.3 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.87 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01 % and 55.12 % respectively.

The stock traded below its 50 DMA.
