Tarsons Products makes tepid listing, stock debuts at 6% premium to IPO price

The stock opened at Rs700 on the BSE, while the opening price on the NSE was at Rs682.

Tarsons Products, an Indian labware company, saw a tepid debut on the bourses. The shares were listed with a 5.74% premium. This is the 52nd company to list on the mainboard in 2021.

The stock began trading at Rs700 per share, up Rs38 or 5.74% from the upper end of the IPO price band of Rs662 apiece.

The stock opened at Rs700 on the BSE, while the opening price on the NSE was at Rs682.

The IPO received bids for 84,02,81,684 shares as against 1,08,44,104 shares on offer and the issue was subscribed 77.49 times.

The retail individual investors category was subscribed 10.56 times. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) category was subscribed 115.77 times. The non-institutional investors category was subscribed 184.58 times.

The issue opened for bidding on November 15, 2021 and it closed on November 17, 2021. The price band of the IPO is fixed at Rs635-662.
