‘Unicap Venture Fund – I’ is a sector-agnostic fund (except Real Estate) focused on asset-light industries in MSME sector, including IT / ITeS, Logistics, Ancillary companies, Service oriented companies, Media related companies, Import / Export focused companies, to name a few.

Emphasising on a ticket size (deal size) ranging from INR 20 million to 50 million in a single company, the fund will be managed by the Chief Fund Manager – Sagar Khurana, along with a team of seasoned industry veterans with Venture Capital, Private Equity and Asset Management experience.

According to Mr. Sagar Khurana, Director at Unicap Advisory, “Raising capital in the current economic scenario is a challenge for MSMEs as the PE players look for significant-sized companies, while banks & debt lenders require collaterals. At Unicap Advisory, we aim to offer customised solutions to such MSMEs, by bridging this gap of Capital requirement by investing equity/mezzanine capital.”

Targeting Indian HNIs and Domestic Fund-of-Funds, the company has already received commitments of INR 200 million.
