V-Mart Retail logs 30% yoy growth in revenue at Rs459 crore for Q4FY22; stock trades flat

For FY22, revenues increased to Rs1,666 crore, up by 55% yoy against Rs1,075 crore in FY21, reflecting a sharper growth from a significantly covid impacted last year.

V-Mart Retail, India’s leading value fashion retailer, declared its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2022.

The company reported Revenue of Rs459 crore, up by 30% yoy as compared to Rs352 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.

For FY22, Revenue increased to Rs1,666 crore, up by 55% yoy against Rs1,075 crore in FY21, reflecting a sharper growth from a significantly covid impacted last year.

EBITDA for Q4FY22 increased by a whopping 50% yoy at Rs50 crore as compared to Rs34 crore in the previous corresponding quarter. EBITDA for the full year also rose by 56% yoy to Rs204 crore as compared to Rs131 crore in FY21.

PAT increased to Rs12 crore in FY22, against a loss of Rs6 crore in the covid impacted the previous year. For Q4FY22, the company reported a loss of Rs3 crore as compared to a loss of 1 crore in Q4FY21.

The company also proposed a dividend of 7.5% for FY22, subject to shareholder’s approval.
V-Mart Retail is currently trading at Rs3,229.10 down by Rs27.25 or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs3,256.35 on the BSE. The scrip touched day's high and low of Rs3,292.85 and Rs3,163.80 respectively so far.
