Shares of Walchandnagar Industries
were trading 4% higher on Wednesday after the company won an order worth Rs96cr from the Indian Space Research Organization’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
Accordingly, Walchandnagar Industries will manufacture and supply “S-139 End Segments” for the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) program, the company said in a press note after market hours to the exchanges on Tuesday.
The project is likely to be executed over a period of three years.
Walchandnagar Industries Ltd is currently trading at Rs99.05, up by Rs3.75 or 3.93%, from its previous close of Rs95.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs101.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs103.80 and Rs99 respectively. So far 9,19,139 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs362.81cr.
