-SGX Nifty indicating a negative opening for the market, in-line with Asain peers. Nifty finds support around 10750, which is the 200 dma & yesterday's low, while 10840 will act as resistance on the upside. Bank Nifty finds support around 26700, while 27100 will act as resistance.       

- In yesterday’s trading session FIIs purchased 675 crores stock in the cash market, whereas DIIs sold 51 crores worth of stock. In the derivative market, FIIs purchased 2395 crores of Index futures and bought 3273 crores worth of Index options. In the Stock futures segment, FII’s sold 95 crores worth of stock futures and bought 259 crores stock options.

-US, Asian markets trade in negative territory. Dow Jones closes in the green after volatile session with Nasdaq ending with losses. Asian indices opened in the red taking cues form global indices.

-Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) new Governor Shaktikanta Das will steer his first RBI board meeting on Friday, December 14. Read more

-Oil prices rise as IEA forecasts supply deficit in 2019. Brent crude ended 2.16% higher at $61.45/ barrel.

-IOC Board approves share buyback at Rs149/share; declares dividend of Rs6.75/share. Record date for the buyback is set on Dec. 25.

-Adani Enterprises acquires Alpha Design for Rs400cr. Alpha Design develops and manufactures defence electronics and avionics. 

-SREI Equipment to raise at least Rs150cr via public issue. 

-YES Bank to submit list of CEO names to RBI post board meet on January 9.

-On Dec 10, MRF promoter Braga Industries acquired 356 shares.

-On Dec 12, Ramco Industries promoter Sharada Deepa sold 43,000 shares.

-On Dec 12 Aster DM Healthcare promoter Azad Moopen acquired 39,000 shares.

-Citi initiated ‘Buy’ on United Breweries, TP Rs1,550.
