Wheels India resumes operations; stock ends 1.5% lower

The company's operations had been affected since March after the outbreak of Covid-19 virus.

Wheels India Limited informed the exchanges Thursday that on account of the relaxation of the lockdown, it has resumed its operations in all plants across the country in a phased manner. The company has obtained necessary approvals from the relevant authorities.

The company's operations had been affected since March after the outbreak of Covid-19 virus.

“All the necessary health and safety protocols for all the stakeholders have been duly complied with, in accordance with the stated guidelines as given by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the relevant local authorities,” the company said in its release.

Wheels India Ltd ended at Rs373.95, down by Rs6.15 or 1.62% from its previous closing of Rs380.10 on the BSE.
