Wipro acquires Cooper Software; stock ends up 1%

The company added that the impact of the acquisition was expected to reflect in the financials of the company for the quarter ending December 31, 2017.

Wipro told the exchanges today that it had completed the acquisition of Cooper Software on October 24. The company added that the impact of the acquisition was expected to reflect in the financials of the company for the quarter ending December 31, 2017.

Wipro Ltd ended the day at Rs 298.95, and was up by Rs 2.65 or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs 296.3 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 296 and has touched a high and low of Rs 301.55 and Rs 296 respectively. So far 1890873(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 144200.05 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 303.55 on 11-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 205 on 09-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 298.9 and Rs 287 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.18 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.19 % and 10.12 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
