Deutsche Bank Group appoints India Head of DBOI Global Services

Sandhya takes over from Vikas Nanda, who moves to Deutsche Bank's Global Business Services in London.

Deutsche Bank Group has announced the appointment of Sandhya Vasudevan as head of DBOI Global Services India, a Deutsche Bank Group company, which runs Global Business Services (GBS) service centres, the Bank's client services centre and transaction processing organisation.


Sandhya takes over from Vikas Nanda, who moves to Deutsche Bank's Global Business Services in London.


Vasudevan will be responsible for the continued development of the world-class client services organisation represented by the India service centres and will report to Arindam Banerrji, Global Head, GBS Services Centres.




Additionally Vasudevan will also have oversight of the Global Business Engineering function of GBS, and will be a part of the GBS Asia Pacific Regional Management team.


Announcing the appointment, Gunit Chadha, CEO, Deutsche Bank India said, “Sandhya has extensive experience in driving change and innovation in the outsourcing industry. Over the past five years we have invested resources and talent in building three world class captive centres in India and Sandhya will contribute significantly in scaling these centres to provide innovative solutions and processes for Deutsche Bank globally.”


Banerrji said, “Sandhya’s extensive experience in the field of operations, financial services and the IT-enabled services industry, equips her to drive the continued success story of the GBS Service Centres in delivering operational excellence and business transformation to Deutsche Bank”.


Vasudevan has over 20 years of experience. Prior to Deutsche Bank, she worked with organisations such as Thomson Reuters, Guardian Royal Exchange and AXA. She is also active in various industry forums such as NASSCOM and CII for building leadership capability and driving innovation.


Vasudevan holds an MBA in Marketing from the Bangalore University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
