Jindal ITF appoints Allard M. Nooy as CEO

Jindal ITF Ltd has announced the appointment of Allard M. Nooy to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Jindal Water Infrastructure Ltd. and Jindal Urban Infrastructure Ltd.

Allard M. Nooy was previously working with Covanta Holding Corporation as President Asia Pacific. His previous experience included leadership roles at Leighton in Asia, Australia’s largest engineering and contracting group. Prior to joining Leighton, Mr. Allard Nooy was with Thames Water International’s Regional Director for Greater China, where he initiated and led numerous M&A transactions and oversaw joint-venture and other projects in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
 
Welcoming Allard M. Nooy onboard, Indresh Batra, Chairman, Jindal ITF Ltd., said, “Jindal ITF is embarking on a journey to scale up presence in the ITF segment. Towards this end, we are strengthening the Group’s organizational structure with the appointment of Mr. Allard M. Nooy and welcome him on board. His extensive experience would support the company’s growth strategy.”
 
Allard M. Nooy said, “I am delighted to take on this responsibility at Jindal ITF and look forward to working with them. My focus will be to develop, acquire, and implement infrastructure, environmental and energy projects in sync with the Group’s vision of becoming a dominant player in the sector.”
 
With over 20 years of business experience in Asia, Mr. Allard Nooy brings extensive executive leadership experience in the water, waste water and waste management and infrastructure sector to Jindal ITF.
