Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Rajendra Rathore, said that two projects worth Rs. 2150 crores have been cleared for the manufacturing of mobile phones, LED TV and allied products. Both these projects will be located at Karoli Industrial Area in Bhiwadi. Intex Technology (India) Ltd. will set up a project at a cost of Rs. 1000 crores, generating an employment for 7500 persons. Similarly, Micromax will set up a unit at a cost of Rs. 500 crores. The employment to be generated in the project will be for 6000 persons.
He added that in Bhilwara, the Jindal Saw Ltd. will set up a project for mining of iron ore and manufacturing of pellets, sponge iron, steel, etc. This project will be set up at a cost of Rs. 1,150 crores and will provide employment to 500 persons.
Furthermore, he informed that a subsidiary of the Daikin Group, Daikin Air Conditioning India Pvt. Ltd. will be setting up the manufacturing facility at a new location in the Japanese Zone of Neemrana with an investment of Rs. 500 crores. It will provide employment to 500 persons. It is to be noted that Daikin already has an existing plant in Neemrana in which they have an investment of more than Rs. 750 crores and are employing 1200 persons.
Nitin Spinners Limited, located at Hamirgarh in Bhilwara, which is the leading manufacturer of cotton yarn in Rajasthan will be expanding its project at a cost of Rs. 286 crores. It will provide an employment to 675 persons. Apart from cotton yarn it will also manufacture cotton knitted fabrics, he added.
Lastly, he said that at the Mahindra World City in Jaipur, Perto India Private Ltd. will be manufacturing Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) and Cash Dispenser Machines (CDM). It will be setup at a cost of Rs. 144 crores and will provide employment to 463 persons. Similarly, Bhumika Enterprises will be setting up a 250 room Hotel and a Convention Center at the Sukher Industrial Area in Udaipur. It will be a Mega Highway Facility with large banqueting and convention spaces. The project will be set up at a cost of Rs. 411 crores and will provide employment to more than 500 persons.
