Uflex jumps 8% after Q2 FY17 net profit rises

The company reported 17% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 90 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.

Uflex Ltd ended at Rs 285.05, up by Rs 22.2 or 8.45% from its previous closing of Rs 262.85 on the BSE. The company reported 17% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 90 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016. It had posted a net profit of Rs 77 crore for July-September quarter in the year-ago period.

The scrip opened at Rs 275 and touched a high and low of Rs 289.2 and Rs 271 respectively. A total of 1629995 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1898.04 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs 334 on 27-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 132.2 on 29-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 263.85 and Rs 226.2 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.02% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.92 % and 44.06% respectively.

The stock traded below its 50 DMA.
