Welspun Corp soars 3.3%; wins awards for its Anjar manufacturing unit

The company announced that its manufacturing unit at Anjar, Gujarat has been awarded with the following awards in the 27th Annual Convention on Quality Concepts organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India, Secunderabad (Vadodara Chapter).

Welspun Corp Ltd ended at Rs. 76.75, up by Rs. 2.45 or 3.3% from its previous closing of Rs. 74.3 on the BSE.

The company announced that its manufacturing unit at Anjar, Gujarat has been awarded with the following awards in the 27th Annual Convention on Quality Concepts organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India, Secunderabad (Vadodara Chapter).

The scrip opened at Rs. 75.1 and touched a high and low of Rs. 78 and Rs. 75.1 respectively. A total of 897585 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1970.63 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 122.95 on 08-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 69.3 on 09-Jun-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 80 and Rs. 72.85 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 41 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.21 % and 35.12 % respectively.

The stock traded below its 200 DMA.
