Raj holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University and is an MBA from IIM, Calcutta. He is a certified trainer in Organizational Development, Change management and Quality management. Raj looks after the overall Global operations of Four Soft which includes all regional business operations in USA, Asia and Europe for sales and customer service. He is also responsible for corporate functions such as Marketing, Product Development, Quality and Technology.

Brief us about your growth in IT, BPO and SCM space?
Four Soft is one of the leading software solutions and services provider to the Global Logistics and Transportation market space. As a growing organization, we need to continuously provide innovative solutions to be competitive in the market for us to grow. Also, we need to focus and do lot of services around our existing product portfolios. In our existing Customer base we have significant BPO opportunities that we are pursuing this year. This will become a good contributor over a period of time. We have been signing quite a number of orders from across the regions (NA, Europe and Asia Pacific) in the beginning of this current financial year and we have a strong pipeline for the rest of financial year.
Run us through the latest order that you won from Chile and how will this order contribute to your revenues?
This first implementation of the order from Chile is going to be in Chile itself. It is for our forwarding system and the total contract value is probably going to be slightly more than USD 100,000. The present deal that we have got is going to be in the range of USD 50,000. This will be invoiced immediately. The more important thing is that it is a SaaS contract, which is a new line of business that we have opened up. We are getting a lot of enquiries and have signed four of these contracts in the recent past. With this particular company, Norbert, they are an existing customer of ours, and they want to convert to this new system that we have. We are talking about getting this done over the next couple of years or so. The current contract we should be able to invoice it by the second quarter. We are talking about an implementation in July.
What is your order book like? How much from that will the SaaS contribute in FY12?
We hope to do new sales of about USD 8 million in the current Financial year. SaaS is a new line of business that has started well for us and will grow significantly over a period of time. This year we expect around 8-10% of our new sales revenue to be through SaaS.
Could you spell out your new initiatives over next year?
We as an organization have been taking various new initiatives for the growth and expansion of our business aggressively. Currently, we are focusing more on the organic growth apart from identifying few business partners in targeted region who would support our organization in exploring business opportunities locally. We plan to achieve the magic figure of USD 100 million in the next 3 years.
Any message to the shareholders of the company?
Four Soft has been a good story so far, with lot of value, and investing now will see its worth over period of time. We are very stringently working on our 3-years plan, so this is a good time for investors to invest and reap gains later.
