RVNL gets new project of Rs 167 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam stated that it has secured a Letter of Acceptance from South Eastern Railway for a project costing ₹167.28 Crore.

The project's scope includes Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, and Commissioning for the upgrade of an electric traction system for the Rajkharsawan Nayagarh Bolani section of the Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway.

The company stated, “Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance from SER HQELECTRICAL/SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY for the upgrade of the electric traction system on the Rajkharsawan - Nayagarh Bolani section of the Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway. The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning to transition from a 1 x 25 KV to a 2 x 25 KV traction system, aimed at meeting a loading target of 3000 MT.”

The project is to be completed within a period of 18 months.

Rail Vikas Nigam carries out all types of railway projects, such as new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, cable-stayed bridge construction, institution buildings, and so on.

The civil construction company reported a 6.24% decrease in consolidated net profit to ₹358.57 Crore and a 6.44% decrease in revenue from operations to ₹4,689.33 Crore in Q3 FY24 compared to Q3 FY23.

At around 10.56 AM, Rail Vikas Nigam was trading 1.19% lower at ₹266.75, against the previous close of ₹269.95 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of ₹274.60, and ₹266.20, respectively.
