Benares Hotels net profit declines to Rs1cr during Q4

The company posted revenue of Rs11.1cr in Q4FY21 against Rs19.5cr in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Benares Hotels, a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), reported a net profit of Rs1cr for the fourth quarter ending March 2021 (Q4FY21) period, declining against Rs4.3cr a year ago same period.

The company posted revenue of Rs11.1cr in Q4FY21 against Rs19.5cr in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Dr Anant Narain Singh, Chairman, Benares Hotels Limited (BHL) said, “Despite challenging market conditions the hotels have shown an increase in occupancies month on month in this quarter. The company reported a 13% increase in revenue and a 29% increase in EBITDA for Q4 Vis-a -Vis Q3 FY 20-21.”

At around 2.39 pm, Benares Hotels was trading at Rs1259.95 per piece down by Rs5 or 0.4% on Sensex.
