Bajaj Auto said on Monday that its total two-wheeler sales fell by 5% in July 2022 to 3,15,054 units. In July of last year, the carmaker based in Pune sold 3,30,569 two-wheelers in total.
According to the company's regulatory filing, domestic two-wheeler sales rose by 5% to 1,64,384 units in July 2022 from 1,56,232 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, while exports fell by 14% to 1,50,670 units from 1,74,337 units.
According to the filing, the number of commercial vehicles (CV) sold in local and foreign markets increased by 3% in July to 39,616 units from 38,547 units.
According to the firm, total sales (two-wheelers and commercial vehicles) decreased 4% to 3,54,670 vehicles during the reporting month from 3,69,116 units in July 2021.
According to the report, total exports (two-wheelers and CVs) decreased by 15% to 1,71,714 units in July from 2,01,843 cars that were sold in foreign markets during the same period in 2021.
