Nifty FMCG index dragged by Dabur, Tata Global

The sectoral breadth of Nifty FMCG was divided with 5 stocks advancing and 10 stocks declining.

The Nifty FMCG index slipped 1.2% or 346 points to 28,963.60. The index opened at 29,238.35 and hit a high of 29,348.65 and a low of 28,887.70.

The sectoral breadth of Nifty FMCG was divided with 5 stocks advancing and 10 stocks declining. Dabur and Tata Global stocks from FMCG dropped over 2% each.

While the index is down, Jubilant Foods Limited is the top performer from the FMCG index, followed by Britannia, UBL, and Colgate which are trading in the positive zone.

Shares of ITC, HUL, and Godrej Industries dropped in the range of 2-1%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Sensex is trading lower by 295 at 35,513. The Nifty is trading 82 points lower at 10,642 levels.
