HSBC Multi Asset Allocation Fund NFO: Key details you need to know

HSBC Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “hybrid category”, named as HSBC Multi Asset Allocation Fund. The investment objective of the scheme is to seek long term capital growth by predominantly investing in equity and equity related securities, debt & money market instruments and Gold ETF.

Investment strategy: The portfolio will be built utilizing Covered Call Strategy where security may fall by more than the option premium earned, thereby exposing the strategy to downside risks.

Asset allocation: The scheme will invest in equity and equity related securities, debt and money market instruments and Gold ETF.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years to diversify their portfolio in multiple assets should invest in HSBC Bank of India Multi Asset Allocation Fund. 

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: S&P BSE 200 TRI (65%) + NIFTY Short Duration Debt Index (20%) +Domestic Price of Gold (10%)+Domestic Price of Silver (5%).

Fund Managers: Ms. Cheenu Gupta (For Domestic equities), Mr. Dipan Parikh (For Gold / Silver ETFs), Mr. Mahesh Chhabria (For Fixed Income), Mr. Sonal Gupta (For foreign securities)

The NFO is available for subscription from February 08 to February 22. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
