Bank of India's stock price goes up by 80% in six weeks

On Thursday’s intra-day trade on the BSE, shares of Bank of India rose 5% to a 17-month high of Rs 83.25 on an upbeat note. Since June 2021, the quote for the state-owned lender’s stock was at a record high.Since reaching a low of Rs 46.30 on October 13, 2021, it has increased by 80% during the last six weeks. On November 23, Bank of India said that Acuite Ratings & Research had revised the outlook for the bank’s extra tier-1 bonds from stable to positive.
