Vardhman Textiles jumps 12% as Board mulls proposal for buyback on Sept 24

The Board of Directors' meeting of the Company will be held on September 24, to consider a proposal to buy-back the fully paid-up equity shares of the Company.

Vardhman Textiles Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 1060.4, up by Rs. 101.2 or 10.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 959.2 on the BSE. The Board of Directors meeting of the Company will be held on September 24, to consider proposal to buy-back the fully paid-up equity shares of the Company.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1022 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1116.75 and Rs. 1022 respectively. So far 310892 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6105.31 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1105 on 01-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 651.5 on 20-Jan-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1010.1 and Rs. 955 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.23 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.8 % and 14.97 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
