Bharti Walmart, the joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and Walmart Stores Inc for wholesale, business-to-business and cash-and-carry operations in India, today launched its Best Price Modern Wholesale store in Rajahmundry. Arvind Mediratta, Chief Operating Officer, Bharti Walmart, inaugurated the store.

The store is a one-stop business-to-business store that meets the day-to-day needs of restaurant owners, hoteliers, caterers, fruit and vegetable resellers, kirana stores, offices and institutions.


Best Price Modern Wholesale store will stock over 5000 items, including a wide range of fresh, frozen & chilled foods, fruits and vegetables, dry groceries, personal and home care items, hotel and restaurant supplies, apparel, office supplies, electronic goods, and other general merchandise items. 


Several products available have been locally sourced from Rajahmundry and surrounding areas including Paper, Snacks & confectionaries, Dairy, frozen and bakery, Personal care, Tobacco.

The outlook is a flat open. Global indices are up. The minutes from the Federal Reserve's July meeting indicate that the Fed is in no hurry to raise interest rates. The Dow added 0.35% while S&P was up 0.25%. Nasdaq ended marginally lower. Asian indices are mixed with Nikkei up almost a percent while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index is lower. South Korea's Kospi index and China's Shanghai index are also in the red.
