Low-cost air carrier SpiceJet is planning to raise around US$75 mn (Rs 3.35bn) and has given the mandate to IDFC-SSKI for raising funds through preferential allotment of shares and strategic sale, accoridng to a report.
The report stated that the airline has its boards approval to raise US$50-75 mn to fund its international expansion.
The airline will begin flying abroad from June, with flights to Kathmandu in Nepal, Dhaka in Bangladesh and Colombo in Sri Lanka.
