Trend in FII flows
The FIIs were net buyers of Rs1.74bn in the cash segment on Tuesday, while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs2.21bn, as per the provisional figures released by the NSE.
The foreign funds were net buyers of Rs1bn in the cash segment on Tuesday, according to the SEBI figures.

The outlook is a flat start. The market will look to scale to new peaks though not much effort is needed for the same. HUL saw a rally and short-covering may have pulled it up further. Speculation is on that its parent will raise stake through an open offer. After the cooling in oil prices, Cairn results will be in focus.
