The Company is principally engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing a wide range of fertilizers, micro irrigation equipments and agri-informatic services.The Company in terms of the Composite Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation of Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, Kakinada Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, Ikisan Limited and Nagarjuna Oil Refinery Limited has merged into Kakinada Fertilizers Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary and accordingly, the name of the Company is now Kakinada Fertilizers Limited with effect from August 1, 2011. In terms of the Composite Scheme, the name of the Company has been changed to Nagajuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited w.e.f. August 19 2011.The flagship company of the Nagarjuna Group, Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of plant nutrients in India. The company has the distinction of being the single largest private sector investment in Southern India, where it supplies a broad portfolio of nutrition products and services including both macro and micro fertilizers. It employs information technology and soil and tissue analysis for nutrient recommendation and its plans include further strengthening of portfolio with advanced tools to measure the actual nutrient requirements and status and deliver customized nutrition solutions to meet the exact needs of the customer. The company provide knowledge-based solutions to the vast farming community through information technology.
