Sri KPR Industries Ltd Summary
Sri KPR Industries Limited, formerly known as Sri Venkateswara Pipes Limited was incorporated on October 13, 1988 originally under the name of Bhagyanagar Engineering Industries Limited and was promoted by Mr. Kishan Reddy Naila. After incorporation, the Company established a facility for manufacture of PVC Pipes and PVC Foam Profiles at Village Nadikandi, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, and changed the name to Bhagyanagar Wood Plast Limited and further upon the amalgamation, the name of the Company was changed to Sri KPR Industries Limited on 11 September, 2011.The said Project was part financed by maiden Public Issue of the Company in the year 1994-95 and with term loan from HUDCO.
The working capital facilities were provided by State Bank of Hyderabad. Initially, Company engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes and Couplings and undertaking pipe laying works. With this, it established itself as a leader in Asbestos Cement Pipes field.
Thereafter, Company formed a 100% subsidiary by name Sri KPR Infra& Projects Ltd to carry on the business of laying Asbestos Cement Pressure Pipes lines. In the course of time, the PVC project was disposed off and the Company was exploring various options to augment the business prospects and also to have a progressive growth oriented business. The erstwhile Sri Venkateswara Pipes Limited was amalgamated with the Holding Company i.e.
Sri KPR Industries Limited, on March 11, 2013 and the Scheme of Amalgamation became effective from July 2, 2013. The merger was approved by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh,, and the Company subsequently took over its operations in the manufacturing of Asbestos Cement (AC) Pressure Pipes.It has mainly two segments viz., Pipes Division and Wind Power Division. AC Pressure Pipes are manufactured at its facility located at Gundlapochampally (V), Medchal, Telangana State.
Wind Power is generated through their own Wind Mills located in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
