The newly commissioned segment part of the project’s third phase has added 53.57 MW to the plant’s capacity and became operational on June 7, 2025.
This commissioning is a significant milestone in NHPC’s strategic shift towards renewable energy diversification, adding solar power generation to its traditionally hydro-focused energy portfolio.
The board of NHPC has approved an interim dividend of ₹1.40 per equity share carrying 14% on face value equity of ₹10
This reimbursement is for the business interruption (BI) loss caused by a flash flood at the Teesta-V Power Station (510 MW) on October 4, 2023.
