  • Retail Banking: Personal savings and current accounts, cards, personal and home loans, rural and semi-urban banking, and the “Burgundy” wealth franchise for affluent clients.
  • Corporate & Institutional Banking: Services to large and mid-corporations, MSMEs and agriculture, including working capital, term finance, trade finance, transaction banking and investment banking through group entities.
  • Treasury: Management of liquidity, interest rate and foreign exchange risks, investment portfolio operations and market-making activities supporting both balance sheet and client needs.

Digital banking & fintech integration: Axis Bank offers a leading mobile and internet banking platform, holds a significant share in UPI payer transactions and credit cards, and leverages its Freecharge subsidiary to deepen digital payments and embedded finance propositions.

ESG & Sustainability Focus

Axis Bank has embedded ESG as a key pillar in its long-term strategy, and the Board-Level ESG Committee ensures oversight of climate, environmental and social priorities. The bank has agreed to scale sustainable and positive impact financing, reduce exposure from carbon-intensive sectors and incorporate ESG criteria into its lending decisions. It is also conducting focused CSR and climate action, including the plan to plant 8 million trees by 2030, of which roughly 3.27 million had been planted by March 2025.
