THE ONKAR BUS SERVICE LIMITED ANNUAL REPORT 2005-2006 MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS PERFORMANCE OF THE COMPANY During the year under report, the company has achieved gross lorries income of Rs.480.98 lacs as against Rs.424.73 lacs in the immediate preceding year which shows the increase of 12.7% as compared to last year. Inspite of ever increasing fuel prices and depreciation, the net loss has declined to Rs.15.98 lacs as against Rs.19.65 Lacs in the immediate preceding year. The directors are hopeful that the company will be in a position to show better results in the current year . The company has purchased business premises at Mota Singh Nagar Market Jalandhar for Rs.53,39,500/- in the month of June, 2006 for the use of its office. Since the premises is situated very near to General Bus Stand it will facilitate in achieving the rapid growth in the business of the company. Further the company has also purchased the land measuring 52 marlas at Mahilpur which will be used for keeping the buses of the company at night. The company has sold its Land adjoining to its office at Ladowali Road Jalandhar in the month of June, 2006. HUMAN RESOURCES AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS Industrial relation in all the divisions remained cordial and continues to be so.
