The company will build the project under a 25-year power supply agreement signed with the state utility.

This development comes after Adani Power’s earlier success in securing an initial 800 MW capacity in the bidding process.
APL plans to build a 1,600 MW ultra-supercritical thermal plant (2 x 800 MW) in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh, under the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) model.
The company also stated that the developers entered into a Concession Agreement (CA) for the project with the Royal Government of Bhutan.
