According to Deepak Shetty, Senior vice President, Domestic Sales and Marketing, Moser Baer, “Of late, we have been seeing a lot of innovation in the pen drives segment in terms of the shape and appearance of the package. But to give it a bejewelled look- is a kind of new avatar which no one in the industry has done so far. We have just tried to bring in a dash of ethnicity to the technology so that the new range gels with the consumer sentiments in the festive season. The range also denotes a style statement and we are hopeful that it will continue to attract the discerning buyers even after the festival season.”
Living up to the festive fervour, the 4 GB and 8 GB variants come in miniaturised symbolic representation of ‘Ganesha’ and ‘Lakshmi’ in shiny golden countenance placed on a serene black background. An elegant golden chain completes the festive look and also makes the product easy to keep and carry.
The technological profile includes: a 2.0/1.1 interface compatible with almost all operating systems (Windows ME/2000/XP/Vista/Mac 9.0 or later/ Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later). Moser Baer Ganesha pen drive measures 21 X 41.4 X 10 mm and Moser Baer Lakshmi pen drive has 6 x 41 x 8.1 mm dimensions. The ensembles weigh 15.6 - 16.7 gms (including the chain).
