FM says Government working with RBI to increase foreign currency inflows

  • The finance minister stated on August 2 that the Reserve Bank of India and the Indian government are examining methods to increase foreign investment. Nirmala Sitharaman responded to a query from a politician in the upper chamber of parliament by saying, "There are a lot of ways we want to strengthen having foreign money coming into India, and RBI and the ministry are pretty active in it.
