Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited was incorporated as Aegis LPG Logistics (Pipavav) Limited, a Public Limited Company, pursuant to a Certificate of Incorporation dated May 28, 2013, issued by the RoC and received a Certificate for Commencement of Business dated June 20, 2013 from the RoC. Subsequently, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Board, the Company name was changed from Aegis LPG Logistics (Pipavav) Limited to Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation to change in name was issued by the RoC on August 23, 2021. The Company is in the business of storage and terminalling facility for LPG and chemical products.

The company has storage facilities at JNPA, Haldia, Kandla, Pipavav and Mangalore.In July 2021, the Company announced a JV between the Company and Royal Vopak. The Konkan Storage (Kochi) got transferred from Aegis Logistics to the Company in March, 2022. The Company also commissioned the Kandla LPG Cryogenic Terminal in March, 2022.

In May 2022, the CRL Terminal was transferred from Vopak to the Company. In June 2022, it acquired 500000 cmb liquid terminal from local vendor in Kandla. It acquired 25000 sq meters plot with 23 liquid storage tanks in Kandla in April, 2023.

In September 2023, it acquired Ruchi Terminal at Kochi.The Company commissioned 2 propylene rated Spheres at Pipavav in February, 2024. It expanded the liquid terminals in Kandla and Kochi in March, 2024 and has acquired the Nandella Terminal in Mangalore. In July 2024, it further expanded Mangalore liquid terminal, which has been transferred to the Company.

The Company came up with the initial public offer by issuing 119,148,936 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each by raising funds aggregating to Rs 2800 Crore in May, 2025.Company enhanced its LPG infrastructure by acquiring a new LPG terminal at Mangalore on June 19 2025, with a static storage capacity of 82,000 MT, which increased the total LPG capacity from 70,800 MT to 152,800 MT in FY 2024-25. It acquired a 48,000 MT Cryogenic static storage LPG terminal at Pipavav Port on July 10, 2025. The Company acquired a 75% equity stake in Hindustan Aegis LPG Limited (HALPG) from its joint venture shareholders, Aegis Gas (LPG) Private Limited and Vopak India B.V., making HALPG a direct subsidiary of the Company on January 6, 2026.

Company has entered into the East Coast logistics market, via HALPG and forged a nationwide network of four coastal LPG terminals located strategically at Pipavav, Kandla, New Mangalore, and Haldia having a static capacity of 225,800 metric tons in 2026.
