Roadstar Infra Investment Trust Summary
Roadstar Infra Investment Trust (RIIT) is an irrevocable trust established on December 06, 2020 under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, with a primary focus on owning and operating road infrastructure assets in India. RIIT is registered with SEBI as an Infrastructure Investment Trust under the SEBI InvIT Regulations. The Trust was incorporated as part of the resolution framework for the IL&FS Group and was designed to facilitate an orderly monetisation and management of operational road projects.
RIIT holds a diversified portfolio of toll and annuity-based road assets across multiple states in India through its underlying special purpose vehicles, thereby providing long-term and stable cash flow visibility.The Trust is managed by Roadstar Investment Managers Limited to focus on operational efficiency, asset sustainability and enhancement of infrastructure portfolio. RIITs asset base includes strategically located highway projects developed under the public-private partnership model, with a significant proportion of projects awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). RIITs portfolio includes the following road assets: Fourlaning of NH-24 in Uttar Pradesh from Moradabad to Bareilly, Two-laning with paved shoulder of NH-11 in Rajasthan from Sikar to Bikaner.
Four-laning of NH-9 in Maharashtra from Indapur to Solapur. Six-laning of NH-2 from Barwa Adda (Jharkhand) to Panagarh (West Bengal). City Road improvement project in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and Fourlaning of NH-33 from Ranchi to Hazaribagh in the State of Jharkhand.The Trust has acquired 243,500,000 Equity Shares representing 100% of the equity stake of Barwa Adda Expressway Limited (BAEL) in October, 2024.
In FY 2025, toll collections in all 4 toll projects of the Trust aggregated to Rs 962.8 Crore, while annuity inflows amounted to Rs 152 Crore.During the year 2025, overall 455,477,143 Units of face value Rs 100/- each were distributed under the Unit Distribution out of which, 35,50,00,000 units were distributed to the relevant eligible creditors of IL&FS Group companies. 68,806,097 units were distributed to the Sponsor.
