Wipro, and IBM collaborate to offer new AI services to clients

26 Mar 2024 , 03:16 PM

On February 20, Wipro Limited, leading technology services and consulting organisation, announced the introduction of the Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform in an effort to accelerate Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption. This new solution is intended to give organisations with the resources they need to build their own enterprise-level, fully integrated, and customised AI environments.

The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform is the product of a deeper collaboration between Wipro and IBM. By combining Wipro's industry knowledge with IBM's AI innovation, the alliance hopes to create collaborative solutions that accelerate the deployment of dependable and enterprise-ready AI solutions.

The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform's key characteristics include infrastructure and core software for AI and generative AI workloads, dynamic resource management for predictive analytics, and industry-specific use cases in banking, retail, health, energy, and manufacturing. The platform also specialises in conversational AI for customer service, personalised marketing, customer feedback analysis, content creation, and design optimisation.

Wipro and IBM are collaborating to fund the IBM TechHub@Wipro solution. This endeavour will bring together subject matter experts, engineers, and assets to assist collaborative client projects. The IBM TechHub@Wipro will contain the watsonx Centre of Excellence, which will integrate IBM's watsonx capabilities with Wipro's products.

Kate Woolley, General Manager of IBM Ecosystem, expressed satisfaction in achieving a significant milestone in the 20-year partnership between Wipro and IBM. She highlighted the collaboration of their expertise and technology, including watsonx, to support clients. Additionally, she mentioned the anticipation of backing joint clients through IBM TechHub@Wipro, consisting of a network of Wipro and IBM experts in global centers of excellence, with a specific focus on AI, automation, IT modernization, and sustainability.

The Wipro Enterprise AI-Ready Platform supports responsible AI practices by including watsonx.governance, which automates AI governance across the AI life cycle. The corporation underlined that the approach assures transparency, data security, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
