Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited was initially incorporated as Canbank Investment Management Services Limited, dated March 2, 1993 and received a Certificate for Commencement of Business dated May 10, 1993 from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. Subsequently, Companys name was changed from Canbank Investment Management Services Limited to Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited and a fresh Certificate of incorporation was issued by the RoC w.ef. October 10, 2007.Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited (CRAMC) is one of Indias most established asset management companies, with over three decades of operational track record.

CRAMC is promoted by two well-established financial institutions. Canara Bank holds a 38% stake and brings an extensive network of 9,800+ branches, providing strong distribution reach and retail connectivity. The second promoter, ORIX Corporation Europe N.V., holds a 37% stake and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ORIX Corporation, a globally diversified financial services group listed on the Tokyo and New York Stock Exchanges.

CRAMC manages 27 schemes across equity, debt, and hybrid categories and services a growing base of 5.08 Million investor folios.CRAMC was incorporated in 1993 with the main objective to manage the assets of Canbank Mutual Fund, with the entire equity share capital held by Canara Bank. In 2007, the Company became Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited, a joint venture, when Canara Bank signed the agreement with ORIX Corporation Europe N.V., whereby Robeco acquired a 49% stake in the Company while the remaining 51% was retained by Canara Bank. The Company launched the Offer for Sale by issuing 49,854,357 equity shares having the face value of Rs 10 each by raising Rs 1326 Cr in October, 2025.The Company experienced growth in AUM, revenue, and profits, with AUM growing from Rs 67 crore to Rs 1.11 crore in FY25.As of March 31, 2026, the Companys Assets Under Management (AUM) stood at approximately Rs 1.07 lakh crore.

Canara Robeco Multi Asset Allocation Fund; and Canara Robeco Banking and Financial Services Fund were the two new schemes launched during the FY 2026. As on March 31, 2026, the Canara Robeco Mutual Fund offered 27 schemes, of which 10 are debt-oriented schemes, 13 are equity-oriented schemes and 4 are hybrid schemes.
