Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) posted a strong performance for the fourth quarter ended March 2025, with sharp improvement in profitability and top-line growth.
Net profit for Q4FY25 rose 79% year-on-year at ₹647.2 crore, from ₹361.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Quarterly revenue was ₹6,374.6 crore, up a robust 35.4% over the comparable quarter a year ago.
Company EBITDA increased strongly 43.8% YoY at ₹2,251.2 crore. Operating margins were 35.3% in Q4FY25, compared to 33.3% in Q4FY24.
For the whole fiscal FY25, AESL has posted an all-time high EBITDA of ₹7,746 crore, which increased 23% YoY, driven by good performance from core businesses. The expansion was driven by double-digit revenue growth in its transmission business, 13% year-on-year growth in its Mumbai utility regulated asset base, and increased treasury income.
CEO Kandarp Patel attributed the company’s success to its track record of performing well in successfully developing complex infrastructure projects within a budget, receiving competitively awarded orders, and following fiscal frugality.
Foreseeing FY26 and the years ahead, the company anticipates to witness continuity in momentum around commissioning new ventures, increasing deployments of smart meters, and strengthening operating efficiency across all business units.
