JSW Infrastructure Posts ₹516 Crore Profit in Q4 Result

JSW Infrastructure Ltd, the country’s second-largest private port handler and JSW Group company, saw its consolidated net profit rising 57% from year-earlier levels to ₹516 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2025. Profit growth was bolstered by higher volumes of cargo and consolidation of some recent buys that improved operating performance across terminals.

Quarterly revenues increased 14% YoY at ₹1,372 crore driven by outstanding performance at Mangalore, Ennore, and Paradip coal terminals and developmental experience at JNPA Liquid Terminal and Tuticorin Terminal. Quarterly EBITDA was ₹730 crore, up 7%, with steady EBITDA margins of 53.2%, demonstrating sound cost management.

The company handled 31.2 million tonnes of cargo in the quarter, recording 5% growth over the same period last year. Third-party volumes were 11% higher YoY, and their share grew to 50% of total volumes from 47% in the previous year, indicating broader customer reach beyond JSW Group businesses.

JSW Infrastructure recorded 31% growth in net annual profit at ₹1,521 crore in FY2025, indicating steady momentum of growth. Revenue for the year increased 20% YoY to ₹4,829 crore, led by increased cargo tonnage and consolidation of acquired units. The company’s cargo dealt with in FY25 were up by 9% at 117 million tonnes from FY24.

Third-party share of cargo grew to 49%, from 40% of the last fiscal. Full year EBITDA rose 17% at ₹2,615 crore on account of strong EBITDA margin of 54.2%, reflecting operating leverage from all the businesses. The Board of Directors proposes a dividend of ₹0.80 per equity share for the year, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

JSW Infrastructure boasts a robust balance sheet with a Net Debt to Operating EBITDA of 0.65x. The company has gross debt of ₹4,659 crore and cash and bank balances of ₹3,188 crore, which gives high financial flexibility.
