HeidelbergCement India Ltd announced its results for the quarter ended March 2025 and posted a 3% decline in its net profit. The business reported a net profit of ₹50 Crore. In the previous corresponding period, the business logged a net profit of ₹52 Crore.
The business, however, posted a marginal increase of 2.70% in its revenue at ₹612.40 Crore in Q4FY25. In the previous corresponding period, the business posted a revenue of ₹597 Crore.
The business said that operating EBITDA stood at ₹90.60 Crore. It came in 2% year-on-year higher than ₹88.80 Crore in the previous corresponding period. The EBITDA margin slipped marginally to 14.79% against 14.89% in the previous fiscal’s same quarter.
The company also reported a 1% year-on-year increase in its total operating costs, including freight, on a per-tonne basis. The company also increased its reliance on non-grid power by 46%. It utilised multiple sources such as waste heat recovery (WHR), long-term power purchase agreement.
EBITDA per tonne was reported at ₹722. On the other hand, profit after tax witnessed a 5% increase at ₹50.40 Crore.
For FY25, the company was under pricing pressure owing to which, per-tonne prices fell 3.3% on a year-on-year basis.
